Yablokov Anatoly Ivanovich

(1911 - 1992)

Yablokov Anatoly Ivanovich - was born in 1911 in the Kostroma province. He studied at the Yaroslavl Art College, then at the Odessa Art Institute until 1932. From 1932 he worked in Kostroma as a graphic designer. Participated in exhibitions since 1936. Regularly exhibited at all-Union and republican art exhibitions in Moscow. From 1945 to 1958 was director of the Kostroma Art Gallery. Yablokov's works are in the central museums of Moscow, Kazan, Sevastopol, Nizhny Novgorod, Yaroslavl, and private collections in Russia, Japan, Germany, France, and the USA. Died in 1992.
