Volkova Nina Pavlyvna
Volkova Nina Pavlyvna – was born on 28th January 1917 in the Uber village, Kirov region, Russia. She studied at the Dnepropetrovsk Art College and the Kyiv Art Institute. Mentors: Panin M., Sharonotv M., Fomin O., Yeleva K., Trokhimenko K. She worked in the easel painting. Since 1947 she takes part in republican, all-Union and foreign exhibitions. The main works: "In the days of the German occupation" (1946); "The Girls of Krasnodon" (1947); "On a day off on the Dnieper River" (1951); "Collective fishermen" (1960); "A portrait of General F.T. Umansky" (1964 - 1965) and others. The artist died in 1993.
