Vaysburg Efim Efimovich
Vaysburg Efim Efimovich – was born on May 11, 1922 in Kyiv. Graduated from the Kyiv Art School (1941) and the Kyiv Art Institute (1946-1952). Mentors: K. Eleva, I. Shtilman, O. Shovkunenko, K. Trofimenko. He worked in the field of easel painting, a representative of the socialist realism style. Member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1965. He worked as the head of the fine arts studio at the Kyiv House of Culture for the worker’s food industry (1954-1961). Participated in republican (1957), all-Union (1961) exhibitions. Major works: "Graduate" (1957); “Subbotnik” (1963); "The Chiefs Have Arrived" (1964 - 1965); "In the Carpathians" (1967); "Violin Sketch" (1968), "Mechanic Petya" (1956), "Graduate" (1957), "Countrymen" (1963), "By the Sea" (1969), "Town conference" (1972), "Soldier's Bread" ( 1973), "Birch sap" (1975). Lived and worked in Kyiv. The artist died on August 15, 1990.
