Vasyukov Petro Petrovych

Vasyukov Petro Petrovych – was born on 22nd January, 1953 in Donetsk. He studied at Russian Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg (Repin Institute of USSR Arts Academy, Leningrad). During the studying period he received 5 rewards in composition at the university competitions. He works in the field of easel painting, thematic paintings, portraits, icon painting, landscapes. Also he is a Member of all-Union, republican, regional exhibitions and creative groups. Laureate of the republican exhibition dedicated to the 50th anniversary of Stakhanov movement. Laureate of the republican contest for the best sketch for the socio-political picture. Member of the USSR Artists Union. His works are exhibited in museums of Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Germany, as well as in private collections in Italy, Spain, the United States, Germany and the territory of the former Yugoslavia.
