Stupin Valentyn Ukhimovich

(1911 – 1988)

Stupin Valentyn Ukhimovich – was born on 7 th of September, 1911 in Zaporizhzhia. He studied at Zaporizhzhia Art School and the Moscow Higher Art - Technical Institute. Mentors: Kuznetsov M., Pavlinov P., Konchalovsky P. Worked in the easel painting industry. Since 1960 he participated in republican exhibitions. First personal exhibition took place in Zaporizhzhia in 1961. Major works: "Youth" (1952); "Girlfriends" (1959); "On construction", "Apples and melons" (I960); " Girl in Red" (1963); and others. The Artist died in 1988.
