Slipchenko Mykola Stepanovich
Slipchenko Mykola Stepanovich – was born on 25th of December, 1914 in the Stepanka village, Kharkiv region. He studied at the Kharkiv Art Institute. Mentors: Fedorov M., Kozik M., Samokish M. Worked in the easel painting industry. Since 1947, he participated in exhibitions. Personal exhibitions took place in 1958, 1966 - Kharkiv, 1968 - Kyiv. The main works: "The first kolhoz spring" (1956 - 1957); "Over the Dnieper River" (1960); "The funeral of Taras Shevchenko in Kanev" (1960 - 1961); "Storming Winter" (1966) and others. The Artist died in 1975.
