Shelyuto Mykola Andriyovich

(1906 – 1984)

Shelyuto Mykola Andriyovich – was born on 22nd of February 1906 in the Glukhivka village, Belarus. He studied at the Odessa Art Institute. Mentors: Volokidin P. Worked in the field of easel painting. Since 1937 he takes part in republican, all-Union and foreign exhibitions. Since 1968, Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR. The main works: "Noon" (1947); "May by the Crimea", "Collection of Apricots" (1949); "Young growth" (1950); "The Birch Grove" (1957); "Autumn" (1967); "On the Dniester" (1969) and others. Awarded with the Order of the Badge of Honor, a medal. The artist died on 6th of February 1984.
