Sergeeva-Sokolova Zinaida Ivanivna
(1907 – 2000)
Sergeeva-Sokolova Zinaida Ivanivna – was born on 21st of September, 1907 in Kharkiv. She studied at the Kharkiv Art Institute in 1926-1931. Mentors: M. Burachek, S. Prokhorov, O. Marenkov, I. Padalka. She worked in the field of easel painting. Main works: “Still life. Daisies" (1944); "Proliski" (1955); "Still life. Cornflowers" (1958); "Lilac" (1962); "Cineraria" and others. Participated in republican since 1944, all-Union since 1957, foreign exhibitions since 1955. The artist died in 2000.
