Rudenko Volodymyr Mykhaylovich
Rudenko Volodymyr Mykhaylovich – was born on 22th of June, 1916 in Krolevets town, Sumy region. He studied at Moscow Institute of decorative and applied arts. Mentors: Bogorodsky F.S., Soloviev A.N., Rublev V. In 1949 he moved to Lviv, where he teaches at Institute of decorative and applied arts, works as the main artist in Lviv regional puppet theater. Participated in regional and republican exhibitions. Personal exhibitions took place in Lviv, Kyiv, Moscow, Budapest, Warsaw. Volodymyr Mikhailovich created more than 130 portraits of actors of theaters and opera singers. Among them: a portrait of Ivan Kozlovsky, Dmitry Hnatyuk, Anatoly Mokrenko, Natalia Uzhviy and many others. Works are presented in private collections in Ukraine, Poland, Hungary. The Artist died in 1992.
