Olshanetsky Yakiv Yosyfovych

(1898 – 1982)

Olshanetsky Yakiv Yosyfovych – was born on 29th of April, 1898 in Nemyriv (now Vinnytsia region). He studied at Odessa Art College. Mentors: Bershadsky Y., Krainev D., Dvornikov T., Kramarenko L. Worked in the easel painting industry. Since 1925 he participated in republican, all-Union exhibitions. Personal exhibition was held in Odessa, in 1941. Main works: "The Girl at the piano" (1936); "Excursion to the Museum of revolution" (1939) and others. The Artist died in 1982.
