Novikov Mykola Yakovich

(1935 – 1996)

Novikov Mykola Yakovich – was born on 21st of August, 1935 in Moscow city. One of the legends of the Odessa underground art. The representative of non-conformism style. He studied intermittently at the Grekov Art School in Odessa. The participant of numerous informal, home, group and personal exhibitions. The works of the artist are stored in the National Art Museum of Ukraine, the Museum of Modern Art in Odessa and private collections in Ukraine, Russia and Europe. He lived and worked in Odessa. The artist died on 12th of August, 1996.
