100 works by Ivan Marchuk in a special issue of VENTS Magazine

The ventilation systems company Vents has released a special issue of VENTS Magazine, entirely dedicated to the life and work of our genius compatriot, the famous Ukrainian artist Ivan Marchuk.
Numerous customers, partners and friends of Vents are well aware that for many years Vents has produced and continues to produce corporate wall calendars with works by world-famous artists of the past and present. The 2020 calendar was dedicated to the work of Ivan Stepanovych Marchuk. However, the scale of his personality and creative achievements are so large, they can not fit into the framework of the traditional calendar. That is why the company decided to release a special gift issue of VENTS Magazine, entirely dedicated to the work of Ivan Marchuk. "This is our gift to all friends of Vents, to whom we are grateful for many years of partnership and trust," said Valery Kolomiychenko, the company's director, in his address to readers.
The edition can be divided into two blocks. Ivan Marchuk's monologues are published in the first block, where the artist tells about himself and his work. The issue is preceded by a phrase of the painter about the mystery of the birth of his works: “Future paintings just appear to me. It's as if you unwind a ball of visions, and gradually a picture emerges. The world of art is different from the real world, it is more natural ... ".
The second block is an art album, which presents 100 works of the Master from all periods of his career, many of which were rarely published before. "The magazine allows the reader to get acquainted with all the works of Ivan Stepanovych, they make you see all the facets of his talent and trace the development of creative thought," - said the editor in chief Oleg Kolodiy.
Ivan Marchuk is the most titled contemporary Ukrainian artist, whose creative baggage is about 5,000 works and more than 200 solo exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad. The famous British publication The Daily Telegraph included our talented compatriot in the rating of "100 geniuses of today".
The work of the Ukrainian painter is divided into 13 cycles: "Voice of my soul", "Blooming", "Landscapes", "Shevchenkiana", "Portraits", "Color Preludes", "Still Lifes", "New Expressions", "White Planet I", "White Planet II", "Dreams come ashore", "Look into infinity" and "Ceramic panels, plastic". Today Ivan Marchuk is working on creating paintings from a new series, which will be presented in black and white.
