Nasedkin Anatoly Leonidovich

(1924 – 1994)

Nasedkin Anatoly Leonidovich – was born on 22nd of April, 1924 in Novgorod, Russia. He studied at the Kharkiv Art Institute. Mentors: Deregus M.G., Svetlichny E.P. Since 1952 he took part in republican, all-Union and foreign exhibitions. Member of the Kharkiv branch of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Worked in the field of easel painting and book graphics. Master of figurative art, landscape, portrait and still life. Since 1968 – Honored Art Worker of the Ukrainian SSR. Since 1974 – National Artist of the USSR. In 1985, the artist was awarded the Taras Shevchenko State Prize. His works are represented in Kharkiv and Lugansk art museums, in gallery and private collections in Ukraine, Russia, England, France and Japan. The artist died on 26th of July, 1994.
