Mokrozhytsky Willy Leopoldovich
Mokrozhytsky Willy Leopoldovich - was born in 1928. Painter. Member of the NAU (1965). A participant in the Second World War. He graduated from the Kharkiv Art Institute (1956; teachers E. Egorov, L. Chernov). Participant of all-Ukrainian, foreign art exhibitions since 1961. Author of picturesque landscapes in a realistic style, and co-author of dioramas. He received the Silver Medal of the Leipzig Book Art Exhibition for drawings for the Human Anatomical Atlas. Some works are stored in the Kharkiv Art Museum, the Museum of the Fighting Brotherhood (Sokolove village, Zmiiv district, Kharkiv region), the Museum of the History of the Battle of Korsun-Shevchenko (Cherkasy region), the Kremenchuk Museum of History and Local Lore (Poltava region), the National Museum of World War II. The artist died in 2006.
