Matzenko Leonid Mykhaylovych
(1890 – 1972)
Matzenko Leonid Mykhaylovych – was born on 4th of June, 1890 in Vilno city (now Vilnius). He studied at Mirgorod Art – Industry School and at Odessa Art Institute. Mentors: Krainev D., Volokidin P. Worked in the field of easel painting. Since 1927 he participated in republican, all-Union exhibitions. Major works: "Odessa. Port before the thunderstorm "(1947); "Sea shore. Odessa (1949); "Spring motive" (1957); "Chigirinsky shaft" (1963) and others. The Artist died in 1972.
