Malyshev Gennady Josypovich
(1922 – 1999)
Malyshev Gennady Josypovich – was born on 6th of April, 1922, in Aksay village, Russia. He studied at the Odessa Art College. Mentors: L. Muchnik, D. Frumina. He worked in the easel painting industry. Since 1957 he was taking part in republican and all-Union exhibitions. The main works: "On the Dniester" (1958); "The New Port of Illichivsk" (1960); "Spring near Odessa" (1963); "In the fields of Taras Shevchenko state farm" (1964) and others. Lived and worked in Odessa. The artist died in 1999.
