Kovturman Kostyantyn Kononovich
(1894 – 1974)
Kovturman Kostyantyn Kononovich – was born on 27th of December, 1894, in Kremenchug city. He studied at Odessa Art College and Odessa Art Institute. Mentors: Kostandi K., Ladyzhensky G., Zause V. Worked in the field of easel painting, book and easel graphics, a poster. Since 1927 he participated in republican, all-Union, foreign exhibitions. Major works: Gorlivka (1937 - 1938); "Odessa" (1947); "Willows" (1954 - 1957) and others. Lived and worked in Odessa city. The artist died on 20th of April, 1974.
