Khorenko Volodymir Fedorovich
Khorenko Volodymir Fedorovich – was born on 27th of November 1927 in Donetsk. He studied at Odessa Art College. Mentors: Kordonsky M., Todorov M., Veksler A. A Painter, graphic artist. He worked in the easel painting industry. A representative of the "severe style" in Ukrainian art of 1970s - 1990s. He was an artist with his own artistic conception and gaze. Since 1967 he participated in all-Union, republican and regional exhibitions. The first personal exhibition was held in Donetsk in 1974. Major works: "Quay", "Winter Day", "The City of Growth" (1967); "The Collective Farm Market", "Miners` Weekdays" (1968) and others. The artist`s works are represented in Donetsk Art Museum, in private collections in Ukraine and abroad. The artist died in 2001.
