Herzenok Victor Andreevich
(1934 – 2017)
Herzenok Victor Andreevich – was born on September 17, 1934 in Nizhnyaya Khortitsa village, Zaporizhzhya region. He graduated from Odessa Art College (1958). Mentors: I. Gursky, V. Puteiko. Painter, graphic artist. He worked in the field of easel painting and graphics. The works praised the fatherland, Khortytsya, views of the Dnieper, monuments of religious architecture of the Russian Federation and Ukraine. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1964). Participated in exhibitions: republican, Гnion, international (1960). Personal - in Zaporozhye (1974, 1977, 1985, 1999, 2001-2002), in Kyiv (1998). Major works: "Winter morning" (1962), "Morning" (1971), "Azov sea" (1973), "Above the Dnieper" (1975), "Winter evening on Khortitsa" (1987), "St. Sophia Cathedral. Kyiv autumn" (2002); graphics - "Tarasov night" (1964), "Kyiv in winter" (1966), "Apricot blossomed" (1986), "Winter evening" (1986), "Spring on Khortitsa" (1988). The works are stored in museums in Kyiv, Donetsk, Lviv, Gorlovka, Berdyansk, Zaporizhya. He lived and worked in Zaporizhya city, died on March 31, 2017.
