Galkun Tatyana Dmytrivna

(1947 – )

Galkun Tatyana Dmytrivna – was born on 26th January, 1947 in Ropotuha village, Cherkasy region. She studied at Kyiv Art Institute. Painter and teacher, National Artist of Ukraine and Member of the National Artists Union of Ukraine. She founded her own painting school in Lutsk. Works in the field of easel painting and in the genre of still life and landscape. Participated in regional, republican and foreign art exhibitions. The individual works of the artist are kept at the UNESCO Headquarters, there is a gallery for her paintings in Lublin. The artist is also the author of the textbooks "Fundamentals of Painting" and "Fundamentals of Color Studies", "Still Life. History, theory and practice".

Our collection includes more than 4000 thousand original paintings by Ukrainian artists of the twentieth century.
