Filonyuk Mykola Kupriyanovich

(1913 – 1998)

Filonyuk Mykola Kupriyanovich – was born on 28th of April, 1913 in Kiev. He studied at the Kiev Art Institute. Teachers: Eleva K., Trokhimenko K., Kasiyan V. Since 1946 - a member of the Union of Artists of the Ukrainian SSR. He took part in exhibitions since 1951. Worked in the field of easel painting. The main works: portraits of the "Gnat Yura" (1946), a portrait of "Kropiviansky NP" (1951), a portrait of "Shevchenko L.P." (1964). His works are represented in the Lugansk Art Museum, galleries and private collections in Ukraine and abroad. The artist died in 1998.
