Chegodar Vasyl Dmitrovich
(1918 – 1989)
Chegodar Vasyl Dmitrovich – was born on 25th of November 1918 in the Chervoniy Yar village, Odessa region. He studied at the Perm Art College, and the Kyiv Art Institute. Mentors: Grigoriev S., Mikheev F., Shuisky E. Master of landscape and still life painting. Since 1946 he took part in republican and all-union exhibitions. Individual exhibitions took place in 1946, 1962 and 1982. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. Since 1982, Honored Artist of Ukraine. Works are represented in museums of Ukraine and private collections. The artist died in 1989.
