Bezugly Daniil Ivanovich
Bezugly Daniil Ivanovich – was born on 23rd of December, 1914 in Ivanivtsi village, Poltava region. He studied at Kyiv Art College and Kyiv Art Institute. Worked in the field of easel painting. He was a member of the Ukrainian Artists National Union and a member of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. Honored Artist of the RSFSR. Participated in republican, Union, foreign (in Poland, Japan, Czechoslovakia, Canada, Sweden) and personal (Kyiv) exhibitions. The most famous works of the artist are "Forcing the Dnipro", "Transcarpathian Land", "Taras Shevchenko among the Kazakhs ","Morning", "Far from Ukraine", " Descendant"and others. The works are exhibited at the National Art Museum, the Art Museum of Lviv, Kharkiv, Odessa, Poltava, Sumy and Chernigov, as well as in the Alupka Palace Museum and the Lubny Art Gallery. The artist died on 29 January, 1977 in Kyiv.
