Basiliansky Eduard Iosifovich
Basiliansky Eduard Iosifovich – was born on 26th of May 1931 in Kyiv. He studied at Ivan Fedorov Polygraph Institute, graphic faculty (modern Ukrainian Press Academy). Mentors: Ryabov V., Luchenko E., Ivanov M. Participated in the Second World War. Worked in genres of the thematic painting, landscape and still life. Since 1970, Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Member of the management bureau of the Kyiv organization of the National Council of Artists of Ukraine. He participated in all-Union, republican and regional exhibitions since 1956. Main works: "The street in Gurzuf" (1973), "Rest by the pond" (1974), "The sun went down" (1978), "The Last Melody" (1981), "Farm in the Carpathians" (1984), "Rest in the forest" (1990), "Sunny Still Life" (1994), "Rain in the City" (1994), "Sunny Still Life" (1994), "Old Boats" (1997) and others. Works are kept in private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
