Bashkevich Anatoly Andriyovich – was born on 24th of August, 1937 in the Uman city, Cherkasy region. He studied at the Kyiv Art Institute. Teachers: V. Puzyrkov. Works in the field of easel painting. Since 1973 – Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. Since 1967 he participates in exhibitions. Major works: "The first lesson of 1944" (1967), "The Days of War" (1969), "Towards" (1969-1972), "Mother" (1970), "The Team from our Street" (1971), "Summer" (1973), Portrait of a Milkmaid (1979), Blooming Flowers (1981), The Cossacks (1999). The works are represented in museums of Cherkassy, Lugansk, Uman, and also in many private collections.
