Balykov Yuri Evdokimovich
Balykov Yuri Evdokimovich – was born on April 17, 1924 in the Pliskiv village, Vinnytsia region. Graduated from the Kyiv School of Applied Arts (1951) and the Kyiv Art Institute (1958). Mentors: O. Shovkunenko, V. Puzirkov. He worked in the field of easel painting. Member of the World War Two. Participated in republican (1960), all-Union (1965) exhibitions. Major works: "In the casemate" (1961); "Extra-student" (1963); “T. G. Shevchenko "(1964); “The Most Honorable Guard” (1965); “The Trio of Bandura musicians” (1967) and others. The artist died in 2003.
