Baidukov Oleksandr Vasilovich
Baidukov Oleksandr Vasilovich – was born on 10th of July 1923 in Troitske village, Zaporizhzhia region. He studied at Dnipropetrovsk Art College. Painter, master of landscape. Works in a realistic manner. He worked in Volyn region in Manevichi town, Kivertsevo sawmill, in Volyn Artistic Production Workshops of the Art Fund of Ukraine. Since 1971, Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. Since 1989, Honored Artist of Ukrainian SSR. Since 1993 the head of Volyn regional organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. Since 2003, the National Artist of Ukraine. He participated in 30 republican, regional and international exhibitions since 1968. Held 22 personal exhibitions. Main works: «Lutsk Castle» (1963), «Nad Stier» (1967), «Oaks» (1968), «Still Life with a towel» (1970), «Melodies of Spring» (1977), «Golden Polissya» (1980), «Len» (1987), «Plants of Life» (1988), «The Battle of Berestechko» (1998). Works are exhibited in the museums and art galleries of Melitopol, Lutsk, Brest, Ostrog, Kyiv, the cities of Poland, Canada, Austria, Germany. Oleksandr Vasilovich died in 2005.
