Andriychuk Mykhaylo Omelyanovich
Andriychuk Mykhaylo Omelyanovich – was born on 21th of November, 1927 in Nekhvoroshchi village, Zhytomyr region. He studied at Odessa Art College and Kyiv Art Institute. Mentors: Paschenko A. and Selivanova I. He worked in the field of easel graphics and painting. His works have philosophical depth, are unordinary and high skill. He has developed and approved the modern Ukrainian style of color graphics based on creative rethinking of the traditional. Since 1964 Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. Since 1987, Honored Artist of Ukrainian SSR. Since 1957 he participated in republican and all-Union exhibitions. Personal exhibitions took place in Khmelnitsky (1977, 1995, 1998), Chernivtsi (1978), Kamenets-Podolsky (1979), Kyiv (1982). Major works: "Waiting for the young" (1957); series "Milkmaids" (1962); "About good people" (1964); "New Rites in Podolia" (1967). Works are represented in the Berdyansky, Gorlovsky and Zaporozhye art museums, Donetsk Fine Art Gallery and other museums and private collections in Ukraine and abroad. Awarded with medals.
