Alexandrochkin Yuri Mykhaylovich
Yuri Mykhaylovich Alexandrochkin - was born on 27 January 1937 in Stalingrad (Modern Volgograd). He studied at Kharkov Art Institute of Painting at the theatrical and decorative faculty. Painter, theater artist. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1974. Worked as an art director in the Sumy Regional Music and Drama Theater since 1964 till 1966, the artist of the Sumy Art and Production Workshop of the Art Fund of Ukraine since 1965 till 1998. The main works: Partisans from Sumy region (1975), After the Battle (1979), Three Heroes (1983), The First Tractor (1984), The Autumn Approach (1991), The Quiet Evening (1999). Works are represented in Sumy Art Museum, Kursk Fine Art Gallery, the Lesya Ukrainskiy Museum (Kovel, Volyn Region), art galleries of Bulgaria, Germany. Participated in republican, all-Union and international exhibitions. The personal exhibition was held in 1997 in Sumy.
