Koshtura Vasil Vasilievich – was born on 23rd of February, 1940 in the Znyatsevo village, Transcarpathian region. He studied at the Uzhgorod Art College, and at the K. Ushinsky Odessa Pedagogical Institute. He worked at the Uzhgorod Mechanical Plant as an engineer-architect, and since 1992 - a drawing teacher at the Uzhgorod Professional Lyceum. The artist paints in genres of still life, landscape and figurative art. In landscape paintings, the artist reflects the views of the Carpathians. Waterfalls take huge place in the artist's works. His palette is optimistic, which gives the works of emotionally high spirits. Since 1976, six personal exhibitions of the artist have been held.
